Joan Harris

Joan Harris (Christina Hendricks) is the opposite of Betty Draper, she's sexy, curvy body, red hair. If Betty Draper is the Grace Kelly of the show then Joan H. would have to be the Marilyn Monroe, but with a big attitude.

And of course her wardrobe is just solid colours, either red, blue or green, always accessorized with a belt, a bow or a brooch, the pen hanging from a chain around her neck, pearl or ruby red earrings, 60's up do, and pretty face.

Betty Draper

After a year and a half wait Mad Men will be back with a fifth season in March 25th. What should we expect? Amazing clothes!! That's probably why I am posting this, to remember why I love Mad Men so much and how much I wished I was a rich girl from the 1960's to wear pretty dresses with my hair curled up all the time. Betty Draper (January Jones) is the perfect combination between sexy and innocent. She remind me so much of Grace Kelly and her perfect blond hair.

Full skirts, floral prints, a pretty butterfly print on a shirt, How to host a dinner book , white lace dress, a cigarette in one hand and a glass of wine in the other, vintage white sunglasses, polka dot and lace gloves, pastel colors, never smile attitude.

I love this coat on Betty Draper, the silhouette and the colour is unique and awesome paired with an Hermés scarf and red lips.

My thoughts on Jeffrey Campbell shoes

The first image below is an original 1983 Salvatore Ferragamo, the second image below is a Jeffrey Campbell show from 2012. I have to admit that if I hadn't done my research I would've loved this JC shoe but to be honest it makes me mad when designers just copy other people's work. As a designer I can say it's difficult to come up with a design that's 100% new, but I would never, ever copy someone else's work.

While looking at other people's fashion blogs last summer, I came to the conclusion that the USA flag has become very popular. I don't exactly know what to think about this, it's kind of ridiculous but if you know how to pull it off then it's O-K to wear. I tried on this shoes when I was in NY and I thought I looked like a wannabe Lady Gaga. I would totally wear shorts with the USA flag on it for a music festival or something. Sometimes I wonder if some 'Gringo' would wear shorts with a Mexican flag on them...I don't think that will ever happen.

I'm not a colour type of person, I usually wear black all the time but this shoes are AWESOME! So 70's that I think I would actually buy them. I think Jeffrey Campbell was inspired by this photo of Twiggy, or maybe not but love both Twiggy and this shoes.

New England summer of '65

I Love New England! I Love the sixties! And I love this story! I'd love to go on an adventure like Suzy and Sam did. I could live in a tent with the person I LOVE while we dance to The Temptations and sing Jefferson Airplane.

The shoes, the dress, the stockings, and the suitcases OMG! I could die for Suzy's wardrobe!

"Charlotte, we're Jewish"

This movie was an adaptation from the novel Mermaids written by Patty Dann. It's just bad comedy but Cher rocked her style. She looks so fabulous in 1960's perfect hairdo and polka dots dresses, It's like a tacky version of Jackie O. I think someone needs to bring that back into the runways!

Charlotte's (Winona Ryder) outfits are the opposite of Cher's. I love the neck collar in this black dress, she's so catholic and I love it!
